Thank you to all of our patients for their continued support during lockdown and beyond it. With the easing of restrictions, we are operating closer to normal with mostly face to face appointments, although there are still many precautions to maximise safety at the practice. We ask that you wear a mask in the practice. Before your appointment, we continue to screen for respiratory symptoms, Covid exposures, and will record your Covid vaccination status.
If you have respiratory symptoms or fever, please get Covid tested as soon as possible, and book in for an initial phone or video consult. If you require in-person review we require that you have a negative Covid test.
As we have done throughout the pandemic, we are limiting the number of people inside the practice. If you have an in-person appointment, please wait in your car and phone our reception desk when you get here. Your doctor will ring you when it is time to enter the practice.
To pick up an item, please phone our reception and wait outside. Our receptionists will hand you your item outside. Please wear a mask if you attend the practice, including if you are picking up items.
Please DO NOT attend the practice in person if:
- you have been to an exposure site or visited a Covid hot spot
- you are in quarantine, isolation or on a 'stay at home' order
- you live with someone who is in quarantine, isolation or on a 'stay at home' order
We appreciate your patience and understanding and will keep you updated as the situation evolves.

COVID safe update

All patients and visitors are required to wear a face mask when entering the practice. If your child is attending the practice with respiratory symptoms, even if they have a negative Covid test, we would appreciate if they could wear a face mask if practical.
Cold and Flu Symptoms
If you have fever OR respiratory symptoms (sore throat, cough, runny nose, blocked nose, shortness of breath) OR loss of smell or taste, please get Covid tested as soon as possible, and book in for an initial phone or video consult. If you require an in-person assessment we require that you have a negative Covid test. If you are unwell and need medical advice while waiting for a COVID test result, please explain this to reception so that we can arrange an urgent telehealth consultation.
For further information, see https://www.covid19.act.gov.au/stay-safe-and-healthy/symptoms-and-getting-tested
Patients who have booked an appointment with the GP are not required to scan the QR code. For all other visitors to the practice, we request that you scan in prior to entering the premises.
Safety at the practice
All of our clinical and non-clinical staff are fully double vaccinated. Our clinical staff will be wearing a face mask, eye protection and sometimes a face shield to increase safety for both our staff and our patients.
We have taken extraordinary steps to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, please see article, Is it safe to attend the GP surgery?
Routine medical care, including childhood immunisations
It is more important than ever to seek medical care during this difficult and uncertain time. Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent small problems from turning into big problems. We continue to provide routine childhood immunisations as they are essential to protect our children. Please see article, Should I come and see my GP, when there is already such a strain on the healthcare system?
